Media, Gallery, and Image Data

When you use our "AI Food Scanner" or update your "User Profile," we request access to your device's media library (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES).

• Purpose: To allow you to select and upload photos of meals for nutritional analysis and to set a custom profile picture.
• Privacy: We do not access, scan, or store your photo gallery for any other purpose. Meal photos are processed only to extract nutritional data for your logs.

Account Information

To secure your data synchronization across devices, you may choose to log in using Google Firebase Authentication. If you create an account, we collect:

• Your Registered Email Address
• Unique Firebase User Identifier (UID)
• Basic Authentication-related Timestamps

Note: Users may access primary localized tracking features completely anonymously using our Guest Mode feature, which minimizes data collection off the device.

Google Play Health Connect Data Disclosures

The App provides integrations with Google Health Connect to seamlessly sync your health data across ecosystem apps. When you grant explicit permissions, the App reads or writes authorized categories, which may include:

• Daily Step Counts
• Exercise Sessions and Active Durations
• Associated Fitness Activity Logs

Health Connect data is accessed only under strict explicit run-time consent and is strictly confined to user-initiated tracking operations.

Information Automatically Collected

To ensure application safety, diagnose technical performance, and maintain security compliance, our systems automatically log baseline client telemetry via Firebase SDKs, including:

• Device Model, Hardware Type, and Operating System Version
• Application Crashes, Stack Traces, and Diagnostic Summaries
• In-App Navigation Performance Statistics
• Mobile Advertising Identifiers (e.g., Google AAID), used exclusively for delivering compliant advertising metrics

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

We process your data based on legitimate business purposes, contract fulfillment, compliance with legal obligations, and user consent. We use the collected data to:

• Create, administer, and synchronize personal user profiles and accounts.
• Provide core calorie calculation, nutrient tracking, and macro targets.

3. AI and Data Processing (Gemini AI)

To provide personalised meal planning and fitness coaching, your data (including food logs, body stats, and activity levels) is processed using the Google Gemini AI model. Data is used solely to generate the specific meal plans or coaching responses you request. We ensure that your data is handled securely and is not used to train global AI models in a way that identifies you personally.

5. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal, media, or health data. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers executing functions on our behalf. These platforms include:

• Google Firebase: Used for database storage, real-time sync, secure authentication, analytics, and crash-reporting operations.
• Google AdMob & Third-Party Advertisers: Used to display operational, targeted, or contextual mobile advertisements.
• Google Health Connect Services: Used to coordinate cross-app health metric updates under your controlled operational guidelines.

Third-party Advertisers

We may engage third-party companies to display advertisements within the Application. We retain your information only as long as your application account is active or as required to fulfill the underlying fitness utility services described in this policy.

Account & Data Deletion: You retain complete control over your data. You can delete your historical logs or entirely remove your account at any time. To request permanent deletion of your synchronized Firebase account records, you can execute deletion requests directly within the app settings or contact us directly via email at the address listed below. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, all personal data will be completely deleted or anonymized from our live infrastructure within applicable policy timelines.

7. Data Security Practices

We implement comprehensive, standard administrative and technical safeguards designed to secure your sensitive health data and image logs. All information handled off-device is strongly encrypted both in transit (using Transport Layer Security - TLS) and at rest within our Firebase database frameworks. While we take maximum structural steps to safeguard your data, no method of digital storage or network transmission can be guaranteed completely absolute.
